At Ashorne Hill we have a proud tradition of delivering management and leadership training across all sectors of the economy. Our Facility is set in a listed manor house in the Warwickshire countryside, and we have long been loved by our learners for providing a tranquil environment for them to learn and network in an idyllic setting.  Over time, we have grown from our traditional core offering and developed capability in delivering digital learning, blended programmes and team building experiences. Our beautiful venue is also available for meeting and team events alongside these learning experiences.

Following the appointment of a new Managing Director in 2021, we have plans to expand further.  Learning is at the heart of our plans, and we are looking to grow our capability across the team, providing a range of opportunities. We are currently looking for people in the following areas:

Digital Content Creator (Two positions available)

Purpose of the role:

  • This is a key role responsible for the design and continuous improvement of the digital learning experience for Ashorne Hill blended programmes. Ashorne Hill specialise in developing training programmes across a range of areas to support and develop modern day managers.

What’s on offer:

  • Hours – 36.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Flexible working options available between Ashorne Hill and home working.
  • Salary between £35,000 – £42000 depending on experience.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Researching new material and evolving our digital library across key management topic areas, generating new ideas across all formats of delivery and learner access
  • Inspiring new design themes for existing programmes and creating new concepts for new programmes
  • Positively influencing and inspiring your design colleagues in creating exciting learner experiences through blended programme development
  • Ensuring we create learning journeys that are coherent, easy to use, engaging, and achieves learning objectives
  • Constructing learning experiences that are engaging in design, from welcome emails through to interactive programme content and classroom training
  • Instructional design including writing content, curating content, storyboarding (required graphics, eLearning, video content, user interface design including branding across all forms of delivery – e.g. webinars, live videos, classroom materials, and communications).
  • Create storyboards and scripts that clearly outline learning design, interactive experiences, and key user engagement tactics, including written content and visual design, to define learning experiences that will deliver learning objectives.
  • Write scripts and on-screen text using appropriate styles and language ensuring engaging, clear and concise communication to deliver learning and engagement objectives.
  • Co-ordinate and support the development of e-learning and video content from colleagues, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery by providing clear briefs, reviewing output work, and providing effective feedback.

Knowledge and experience:

This post requires a person educated to degree level, with relevant design experience, a blend of learning design and professional writing, as well as technical and visual design skills. A good understanding and experience of learning design and delivery across a range of media is essential, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills. The position requires good organisational skills, and the ability to co-ordinate projects and multiple stakeholders to reliably deliver to tight deadlines. Knowledge and experience of Adobe Photoshop, Storyline, Articulate 360, Rise and Adobe Illustrator is desired.
