What attracted you to the new role at Ashorne Hill?

A beautiful setting with a challenging role developing first class digital training. What’s not to love?

What is your background in learning and development? And where have you come from?

I have over three decades worth of experience in the public sector, health service and educational establishments, as well as in freelance training.

My field of expertise is digital design, authoring, publication, and quality assuring as well as being highly skilled in face to face delivery in IT and Personal Development Training, using the TAP methodology.

My previous role was an Instructional Designer for MTC.

What have been your first priorities at Ashorne Hill and tell us a bit about the programmes that you’ll be developing?

My first priorities have been to really immerse myself in the team and the products that we sell so that I can confidently support the team when we’re chatting to clients both new and existing.

I have been putting together new digital programmes for one of our key customers, providing an interactive learning journey that will develop their team.

What makes the Ashorne Hill Graduate and Management modules so different to other programmes? And how are they evolving to be different to the competition?

We are able to provide a bespoke learning journey that matches each company’s look, feel and strategy. Addressing the needs of the company at the right time, in the right place, with small, easily digestible learning products means that we can support their staff members in a professional learning journey they wouldn’t get anywhere else.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love walking and regularly holiday in the Lake District no matter what the weather.

You’ll also find me with my nose buried in a book or plugged into my headphones listening to music.

Ashorne Hill exudes positivity and creativity, give us your most positive phrase or saying.
