Ashorne Hill focuses on training programme development with key hire

Ashorne Hill, the award-winning training and meeting venue in Leamington Spa has appointed James Lee as Programme Director to further enhance and develop their suite of blended training programmes.  

James, who has extensive experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, management, and leadership development, joins the team at a crucial point in Ashorne’s journey.  Having recently launched their Digital First Graduate Programme to respond to new client needs over the last year, James will now be responsible for evolving the quality of the learner’s experience and developing new training materials to complement the existing programmes.

Terry Gordon, Learning Solutions Manager said, “James has over 20 years learning and development experience, specialising in sales, business, personal and leadership development.  He will play a key role in driving forward our new digital first and revamped blended training programmes.  His experience means he is ideally positioned to support both the design and delivery of our digital training solutions and the resurgence of face-to-face training, as restrictions ease and we re-open fully to meetings and training”.

Of his new role, James said “I’m really excited to be part of the Ashorne team and can’t wait to get back on site to properly meet everybody. Nothing really beats face-to-face meetings and training.  In the last 12 months, we have seen a big increase in enquiries for remote training programmes and the L&D team pivoted really quickly to meet these demands.  It’s my role to further evolve the programmes and work with the existing venue sales team to drive both digital and blended training programmes.  I can’t wait to get stuck in”.
