From 1st September, Ashorne Hill re-opened and the team is ready to welcome guests and delegates once again. The safety and wellbeing of guests and the team are always top priority and even more so in these unprecedented times so, to ensure a safe environment for everyone, some changes have been made.  This includes additional cleaning in bedrooms and public areas, COVID-19 training for all the team, implementation of one-way systems and reducing capacities in meeting rooms.

Please be assured our excellent, flexible and approachable service has not changed, in fact we have put more focus and more effort into delivering unprecedented service to ensure your meeting or training exceeds its objectives.

We’re definitely good to go and you can read our full COVID-19 policy update and view our updated meeting room capacities by visiting www.ashornehill.co.uk/covid-19 but here’s an overview of the key points.

1). Making your enquiry

Our team has returned and is ready and waiting to take your enquiry.  We will take a little extra time with you to find a meeting space and format that works for you and fits in with your own policies.  We can suggest hybrid solutions and take you through the whole pre-arrival pack so that your delegates and you feel safe to return.  We’ve all missed a little face-to-face time.

2). Track and trace

Your details will be collected for test and trace purposes. Please provide your details to your organiser before you arrive.

3). When you arrive

Allow enough time before your event starts to register at reception and confirm you have read our COVID-19 declaration. Random temperature checks may be taken.

A one-way system is in place and please try to keep at least 2 metres away from other guests. Face masks are mandatory in public spaces, we ask you to use our sanitising points, keep to one spot in your meeting room, pay by contactless and bring your own water bottle.

4). Breaks and meals

There’s plenty of space to keep socially distanced yet continue that all important networking.  Free-flowing tea and coffee machines are available.  All mealtimes will be held in the restaurant where you’ll enjoy table service (with a smile).

5). Accommodation

Registration cards can be brought to your meeting room to complete.  All bedrooms will be sealed with a spot so that you know no-one has entered your bedroom since it was cleaned. Where non-essential items have been removed, they have been replaced with a comfort pack containing a small hand sanitising gel, a packet of tissues, a disposable mug and your refreshments. Breakfast is available in the restaurant or breakfast bags can also be ordered to go.

6). Meeting room capacities

To ensure safe social distancing at all times, meeting room capacity has been reduced for now. Visit www.ashornehill.co.uk/covid-19 to download our latest chart.
