We have added to our extensive conference, meeting and learning facilities by launching a dedicated assessment and development centre onsite in Leamington Spa.
The centre forms part of a focus on early career development and will be utilised by the Ashorne Hill Learning Solutions team to provide recruitment, assessment and development centres for clients, in addition to being available for exclusive-use hire. Being purpose-built the new centre has dedicated space for individual interviews, group exercises, presentations and catering options, making it an all-inclusive private venue, with the option to brand the centre with corporate digital signage.
The building makes the most of natural daylight in every space and has been designed with contemporary ‘talking piece’ artworks and modern furnishings in the break out areas. Practical considerations include complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout, secure parking spaces, excellent AV specifications, and a private assessors’ office.
The building has been named The Shedden Centre in memory of the late Bill Shedden, a long-time friend and board member of Ashorne Hill. Bill’s daughter Natalie attended a low-key event to open the building and John Carson, Managing Director comments:
“We are thrilled to be able to name the centre after Bill, whose leadership and commitment to development was an inspiration to all, and pay tribute to his legacy by opening this facility on site here in Warwickshire. This is an exciting addition to the business and has been designed with our clients in mind, filling a gap in the market for this type of assessment facility. Our business is about creating personal and organisational growth, and to be able to provide a secure and private space for organisations to develop their people is a fantastic prospect.”
