MOD Service Leaver Programmes
ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Management
At Ashorne Hill we understand that each individual leaving the armed services has unique learning requirements.
Our programmes are designed to offer choice and flexibility, and enable service leavers wishing to pursue a career in executive management to fill the knowledge gaps identified in their career transition analysis - in a way however that builds on their unique knowledge and experience gained during their service career and does not duplicate what they already know. We are confident that service leavers will not find this dedicated approach from any other training provider.
The ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Certificate in Executive Management qualification programme at Ashorne Hill consists of two 5-day residential weeks at our dedicated training facility, tucked away in a peaceful location in the Warwickshire countryside: and yet still within a couple of miles from Junction 13/14 of the M40 - and only five miles from the mainline rail stations at Leamington Spa, Warwick and Warwick Parkway.
The two programme courses, both of which need to be successfully completed to achieve the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Management qualification, are:
- Developing and Implementing Strategy
- Finance for Strategic Decision Making
Further information on the benefits of this programme at Ashorne Hill can be downloaded here.
This programme is marketed by the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) who can advise service leavers with all of the relevant information and guidance relating to programme dates and booking procedures, including how to apply for the full funding and allowances that are available.
ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring
Coaching is one of the most powerful, strategic and tactical weapons open to businesses today because of its ability to enhance areas of expertise and capability alike. Whether skills are already at a high level or needing to be developed, coaching can significantly impact business performance.
This course is of particular value to MOD service leavers, as it enables them to adapt their proven leadership skills in making the transition to modern business management.
There are no pre-course requirements and the programme is suitable for anyone seeking to adapt their management style to fit today's business world; or needing to inspire a team of strong individuals who are not yet achieving their full potential.
The course description can be downloaded via the link from our Open Courses section: bookings can be made directly with the Ashorne Hill Programme Office or by sending us a Training Enquiry Form.
